Hi, I'm Bhairav Bhavsar, founder of DocSimple.
For over 14 years, I've built AI and automation solutions that help organizations simplify complex processes. Throughout my career, I've seen firsthand how technology can solve incredibly difficult problems. But one problem always felt surprisingly unsolved—helping everyday people understand the important documents that affect their lives.
The inspiration for DocSimple came from my own family.
My father lived with diabetes and relied on Medicare for much of his healthcare. Like many families, we found ourselves constantly reviewing medical bills, insurance statements, Medicare notices, and healthcare paperwork that often felt overwhelming and difficult to understand.
Each document raised more questions than answers.
We spent countless hours researching unfamiliar medical terms, billing codes, insurance language, and payment responsibilities—simply trying to understand documents that should have been easier for ordinary people to read.
That experience never left me.
As someone who builds AI solutions for a living, I kept thinking:
"Why should anyone need a medical, legal, or insurance background just to understand an important document?"
That question became the foundation of DocSimple.
