When you use DocSimple we collect:

• Documents you upload for analysis
• Payment information processed through Stripe
• Basic usage data such as pages visited and features used
• Device and browser information

We use your information to:

• Provide the document analysis service
• Send you your analysis results
• Process your subscription payments
• Send service updates and product announcements
• Improve the product based on usage patterns

This is the most important section for our users.

Documents you upload are processed to generate your analysis. We do not sell your documents to third parties. We do not use your documents to train AI models. Documents are stored securely and you can delete them from your account at any time.

We share data only with:

• Anthropic — AI processing of your documents
• Stripe — payment processing
• Clerk — authentication and account management
• No data is sold to advertisers or data brokers

• Account data is kept while your account is active
• Documents are kept until you delete them or close your account
• Payment records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time
