By using DocSimple you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

DocSimple is an AI-powered document explanation tool. It provides plain English summaries and explanations of documents you upload.

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: DocSimple is NOT a law firm. DocSimple does NOT provide legal advice. DocSimple does NOT provide medical advice. DocSimple does NOT provide financial advice. DocSimple explanations are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified attorney, doctor, or financial advisor before making important decisions based on any document.

DocSimple does not:

• Review documents as a lawyer would
• Provide legal opinions or advice
• Advise you whether to sign a document
• Guarantee accuracy of explanations
• Replace professional legal counsel

The word "review" in any DocSimple output means AI-generated explanation only — not legal review.

DocSimple uses AI to analyze documents. AI can make mistakes.

Explanations may be:

• Incomplete
• Inaccurate
• Missing important context
• Based on general knowledge not your specific jurisdiction

You should independently verify any important information before relying on it. DocSimple is not liable for decisions made based on our explanations.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring you have the right to upload documents you submit

You must be 18 or older to use DocSimple.

You may use DocSimple only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload documents you do not have the right to share
• Use DocSimple to violate any law
• Attempt to reverse engineer the service
• Use DocSimple to harm others
• Share your account with others

By uploading a document you represent:

• You have the legal right to upload it
• You are not violating any confidentiality agreement by uploading it
• The document does not contain information you are prohibited from sharing

We strongly recommend redacting sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, and passwords before uploading.

DocSimple and its content are owned by Bhairav Bhavsar.

You retain ownership of documents you upload.

You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the service to you.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.

Refunds:

• We offer a 7 day refund on first purchase if you are not satisfied.
• No refunds after 7 days.
• No refunds on annual plans after 30 days.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: DocSimple is provided AS IS without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Decisions made based on DocSimple explanations
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Any damages arising from use of the service
• Loss of documents or data

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocSimple and its founders, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be resolved in Hillsborough County, Florida.

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
